What you will fill in
- Which province is the rental home in?
- Your full name (all tenants)
- Landlord's full legal name
- Address of the rental unit
- What kind of tenancy is it?
- Date you will give the notice to the landlord
- Your last day (move-out date)
Good to know
- Ontario: you must use the LTB form N9. This document gives you the exact answers to copy onto it.
- Check the timing: most provinces need at least one full rental month (Ontario 60 days). If the notice is late, the end date moves to the next month and you may owe more rent.
- Ask for a move-out inspection, take photos and return all keys, so you get your deposit back.
