What you will fill in

- Tenant's full name(s)
- Rental address (with unit number)
- Date the original lease was signed
- New end date
- Monthly rent during the renewal ($)
- Date signed
Good to know
- Ontario: when a fixed-term lease ends, the tenancy automatically continues month to month. A renewal is optional; a tenant never has to sign one to stay.
- A rent increase still needs the official N1 notice 90 days ahead and must follow the yearly guideline for most units.
