Good to know
- Ontario: the landlord must give the tenant their legal name and address for service in writing, a copy of the Ontario Standard Lease within 21 days, and the LTB brochure 'Information for New Tenants'.
- BC and Alberta: do the move-in inspection report together and give the tenant a copy.
- Keep it friendly. A clear welcome letter cuts down late payments and late-night calls.
