Good to know
- Canada's Competition Act bans misleading ads, and the Competition Bureau holds both the brand and the influencer responsible for hiding a paid link. Use #ad or #sponsored at the start of the caption and the platform's paid-partnership label.
- Follow Ad Standards' Influencer Marketing Disclosure Guidelines. Disclose in each post and in videos, not only in the bio.
- Health or beauty claims must be true and backed by proof. Influencers may only share their honest opinion.
