What you will fill in
- Your business's legal name
- Name of the app or software
- How do users pay?
- How many devices may one user install it on?
- Contact for questions (name or title, and email)
- Which province's laws apply?
- Date this policy starts
Good to know
- Show the EULA before install or first use with an "I agree" button. A licence the user never saw is hard to enforce.
- Consumer protection laws (like Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002) still apply. You cannot take away a consumer's legal rights, so this EULA says limits apply only as far as the law allows.
- If you sell through Apple or Google, their store terms also apply.
