What you will fill in
- Does any of these apply to you?
- Your full legal name
- Your city or town, in Ontario
- Date your current will was signed
- What kind of change is this?
- The new wording
- Date you will sign the codicil
Good to know
- A codicil must be signed and witnessed exactly like a will: two witnesses who get nothing under it.
- If you are making many changes, a new will is clearer than several codicils.
- Never write changes by hand on your signed will. Use a codicil.
Help in your language
Every question comes with help like this. For example, “Does any of these apply to you?”:
English: If one does, a lawyer should check it before you sign. You can still make the full document here.
