Good to know
- In Ontario, a home daycare can care for at most 5 children under 13 without a licence (counting the caregiver's own under 4). Check the rules on ontario.ca.
- If a nanny works regular hours in your home, they are usually your employee: minimum wage, vacation pay and public holidays apply, and you may need to register with CRA as an employer.
- Pair it with our Child Medical Consent so the caregiver can get treatment in an emergency.
