Good to know
- The Competition Bureau expects clear disclosure of paid or affiliate links, like #ad or "I earn a commission" right in the post, not hidden in a bio. Undisclosed endorsements can be deceptive marketing under the Competition Act.
- Commercial emails and texts need consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Fines are high, and you can be responsible for what your affiliates send.
- Hold commissions until your return window ends, so you don't pay on refunded orders.
